emelyn & greg had a classic modern wedding with red cymbidium orchids, schwartzwald calla lilies, and forever young red roses. the tall centerpieces used matsuma branches and deep red cymbidium orchids in tall clear vases with polished black river stones.

my coworker is having a boy in a few short months. her one request was for the arrangements to include peonies. the white peonies with deep blue delphinium add a striking contrast the the cerused wood containers.

i love lilac... a first sign that spring is finally on its way. 

11.25.08 - flower arrangement

A coworker asked me to create an arrangement for his wife. The arrangement was simple, composted of cymbidium orchids, mini schwartzwalder calla lilies, and green spidermums, and finished with a red banana leaf.

young + dongjo 10.18.08

I love the venue that Young & Dongjo selected - the Brooklyn Botanic gardens. The ceremony was outside and the reception followed in the Palm House. The flowers were understated - orchids, roses, cala lilies and dahlias in shades of pink and white. Also some pink and white hydrangea with pink hypernicum berries for some of the center pieces.
