A coworker asked me to create an arrangement for his wife. The arrangement was simple, composted of cymbidium orchids, mini schwartzwalder calla lilies, and green spidermums, and finished with a red banana leaf.

young + dongjo 10.18.08
I love the venue that Young & Dongjo selected - the Brooklyn Botanic gardens. The ceremony was outside and the reception followed in the Palm House. The flowers were understated - orchids, roses, cala lilies and dahlias in shades of pink and white. Also some pink and white hydrangea with pink hypernicum berries for some of the center pieces.

9.20.08 - jessica & lance

Jessica & Lance chose brown, green, and white for their intimate backyard wedding. The bride's bouquet is a mixture of green and white cymbidium orchids, star of bethlehem, schwartzwalder calla lilies, mini white calla lilies, berzilia berries, chocolate cosmos and fiddlehead fern heads. The maid of honor utilized the green cymbidiums, chocolate cosmos, green spider mums, berzilia berries and a few mini white calla lilies and star of bethlehem. The centerpieces used the more of the same. The groom’s boutonniere used two mini calla lilies with berzilia berries and a fiddlehead fern head. The best man's boutonniere was just a schwartzwalder calla lily and berzilia berries.

kristin + chris - professional shots

I just got some images from the happy couple of professional shots of their day. You can see better the color of the deep blue delphiniums - and what a beautiful couple!

Unfortunately, no close ups of the alter pieces - they were composed of green vibernum, blue delphinium, peonies and phalenopsis orchids. The flower girl's wreath was white cymbidium orchids.
